Stylish 1928 Ad Antique Reo Wolverine Automobile Lansing Mich - ORIGINAL SEP4

This is an incredible original 1928 black and white print ad for the REO Wolverine. The REO Motor Car Company was founded in Lansing, Michigan in 1904, by Ransom E. Olds. In 1907, REO was one of the most lucrative automotive companies in the United States; however, by the following year sales began to decrease significantly due to such emerging companies as General Motors and Ford. In 1912, mechanic and driver Fonce V. "Jack" Haney and journalist Thomas W. Wilby made the first automobile Trans-Canada excursion in the REO Special Touring Car.
